Replace Ford F250/F350 Truck Fuel Filter in Rancho Cordova
Why does it matter? Clean fuel is so important to Ford F250 and F350 trucks that they come equipped with TWO fuel filters!
The first filter sits on top of the motor on the left-hand side. The second filter is inside the diesel fuel conditioner module. The module is attached to the fuel tank in one of several locations, depending on the configuration of your truck. Both fuel filters should be replaced every 3rd oil change or every 15000 miles(24,140 km) or as indicated by the message center (which ever comes first). Some indicators of clogged/dirty filers are: issues with starting; motor stalling; heavy vibration when driving; rough slow-speed cruising or loud fuel pump noise.
There are fuel additives that can clean your injectors but they are not a substitue for replacing the fuel filters. The fuel filters will get clogged and then you're in real trouble.
If the fuel filters are not replaced, they can damage the truck's motor that could cost $10,000 or more to repair.
If you are in or near Rancho Cordova, and are experiencing indications that one or both filters are clogged or failing, or if it has been 15,000 miles since you had this service done, call us today to schedule an appointment!
